So a very popular question during the Harvard MBA interview is what are you currently reading. I am going to spare poor Zack and not admit what he was actually reading when he learned of this question. He has since started reading Clayton Christensen's book, who is a Harvard Business professor. He was genuinely interested in this book, and wants to read some of it to prepare regardless, but I think it might seem a bit of a kiss up answer. What do you guys think?
What do you think he should be reading??????

OOhhhh I want to know what he was reading before! Was it Twilight or Harry Potter? Scott has enjoyed these cheeky history books by Sarah Vowell.
If he hasn't read John Adams by (I forget the author, he's well known), he should read that. Or maybe Washington's Cross by David Fischer. That's a great one.
But Twilight might surely cause a more animated conversation.
Mostly don't read anything that isn't authentic to who Zack is. Don't mention the Harvard Professor book. That would just seem ridiculous.
You can't go wrong with a classic. Something by Dickens? Or The Three Musketeers, or Count of Monte Cristo. Zack would actually love both of those books.
When's the interview? I think about it once a week, at least.
I second the vote for a classic- something he would be interested in anyway, perhaps one he's always meant to read?
There's also a couple books out about Lincoln that I've heard are really good, Team of Rivals has come up a lot in things I've read recently.
I vote for Twilight. That would make him stand out.
Yeah, he shouldn't mention the Harvard guy.
And if you haven't heard... they never even asked!
:-)
Thanks for the suggestions, now I have a great summer reading list!
have a gret day!
-Zack
