A Mess

Pretty much "A mess" sums up most aspects of my life right now.

Our new home...a mess
Me as a friend, sister, wife, mother...a mess
My mental and emotional status....a mess

So if you have been calling me and I haven't called, emailed or responded to let you know I'm alive please forgive me.  Turns out moving across the country and trying to restart our lives while big and pregnant doesn't agree with me.

Go figure.

Be patient! I am not pregnant and it has taken a month to get "settled" and that does not include everything thrown in the basement. And this whole moving and making new friends thing is rough. Why didn't we move somewhere new together? I miss you guys!

I would bet you are twenty times better than you think you are! And someday it is all gonna get worked out! Love you!

Oh Ana! I totally feel your pain. I was in your shoes last May. Take your time responding. I wish I could be there to help you.

Love you.

Moving and starting over takes a mental and emotional toll!! Pregnancy is the craziest thing a woman ever does!

It will all turn out, "happily ever after"!!

Oops, that was from me, and NOT Christine. But it would have been funny if Christine wrote that :)

It is really awful right now, isn't it, wonderful Ana? Best to speak the truth outright as you have done.

You are so very much appreciated and loved always and especially during this overwhelmingly demanding time when what you really need is to settle in, put your feet up, and rest. (And maybe eat some chocolate.)

Remember, I will come any time and stay as long as you wish. That's the upside of being unemployed!

Love,
Mom

I am glad you didn't say you are a mess as a daughter! Having you move closer and knowing we can see you and your beautiful family more often is the best news in a long time.

Welcome back!

Moving is rough on so many fronts - I totally sympathize! I heard from someone that moving to a new place is like losing a year off of your life...I would add that that is especially true when you are pregnant! =) Hang in there!!! BTW, we've been in our place over a year now and I just now feel like we're starting to pull ahead of all the craziness, to-do lists, decorating, etc...
