Ever have one of those days when seriously every time you open your mouth your foot jumps in it? Zack has :).
After a number of seriously did you just say that moments, including kissing me and saying "oh Melanie" (*pronounced Melanie, but spelled melon-y referring to the flavor of my new lip balm, but never the less shocking in the moment) and honestly a very nice calm Saturday we sat down for dinner. Zack looks over at me and says, "man, if this is what your Monday through Friday is like, then your life is awesome." Yes Zack, the 2:1 parent to child ratio, breakfast, lunch and dinner that appear as if out of thin air, the hour you spent in the Nike outlet childless while I roped and wrangled an exhausted 2 day nap-less Jack in the mall, a two and a half hour break/nap when Jack actually did fall asleep, no errands, no time outs, no one watching while you go to the bathroom thinking its funny to run off with the toilet paper, no massive amount of work that you are expected to get done for your job while desperately attempting to be the parent your child deserves. Yes Zack. It's exactly what my Monday through Friday is like.
PS. Despite it all, the only thing Zack is better at then being a father, is being a husband.

Hahaha! I can not stop laughing about the "Oh Melanie" comment! That's almost out of a movie. So funny, glad you recorded it!
