This evening Jack came up to me and, prompted by Zack I am sure, said:
"Momma, don't put my belt on me like a girl."
Was anyone else aware that girls and boys wear their belts differently? Girls loop it one direction, boys loop it through the other. Where is the sanity in that? Somehow I seriously doubt that a mother came up with that idea.

No, boys start threading the belt to the left. It is the same as the shirt, the buttons are on the right and the holes are on the left...
I knew the buttons on the boys shirt went the opposite direction as a women's shirt. I never could have told you which buttons went which way. But the belt too?!
Yeah I knew about the buttons - mom taught us it's because women typically had someone dressing them from the front so the buttons were put on the "right way" for them. But I didn't know about the belt thing. Weird.
I always dress Annee from the front and I've noticed that the buttons are on the opposite side. She never buttons her own clothes!
Hahah Darin!
What is more interesting than the belt thing is that Jack somehow NOTICED that his belt went a different direction than Zack's. Crazy!
