August 25 is right around the corner
I'm not sure who is keeping track of the fact that August 25th (Zack's official layoff date) is just around the corner. First off, Zack has received a promotion !! YEAH !! which deserves to be celebrated despite being laid off. So Saturday night I am taking him to Scott's Seafood up in Palo Alto which he has been hinting ever so casually about wanting to try out. Secondly, Zack has 3 solid job offers, all as a Marketing Manager in the Mountain View office. All three are waiting on his decision in the next few weeks to come. Thirdly, Zack is now on a plane to San Diego to interview for another job he is interested in...dare I admit it's his first choice, which is super scary for those of us who don't like change even if it's good change. We will keep everyone in the loop as the deadline gets even closer...

Wow that is all so amazing. I'm so happy for you guys and congrats to Zack for the promotion! I'm hoping good things will be waiting for me when I return from vacation next week. CHANGE IS SUPER SCARY. Wouldn't that be crazy to move to San Diego?!?!
Congratulations Zack! You are one blessed guy. So many opportunities awaiting you. I'm sure there is much in store. Can't wait to hear how it all unfolds in the coming weeks. Hear, hear to resisting change! I love the story about the boys making messes while Ana was away! That's how it always is around here too.
