Our neighbors invited us to participate in their evening ritual. At least eight kids (who all are within a year or two of Jack) get together every evening and ride power wheels in the back alley lined with garages. And I mean HUGE power wheels. One kid has a large Lightning McQueen, another a big four wheeler that I could fit in, a over sized Jeep and a few other motorized vehicles. Our next door neighbor, Dani (pronounced Danny) let Jack borrow the smaller power wheel that her three and a half year old learned to drive on. (Yeah I know...) The whole thing was hilarious and also so absurd to watch! Jack had so much fun and can't wait till tomorrow evening. And here I was thinking we had no cool ideas for Jack for Christmas.
I managed to snap a few pictures tonight. Jack was upgraded to the Lightning McQueen car tonight..

Wow that sounds pretty intense. What a perfect place for Jack! I'll bet he loves it.
Hooray for all the moments in your lives and for your wisdom and talent in recording them, Ana!
I love getting the details of your lives this way (as well as on the phone sometimes). On the blog, you write so well, and I feel like I was there for the Big Wheels, the moving madness, Bongo's birthday, and the arrival of Jack's new buddy from work!
You are so smart to focus on the positive.
Oh, I just was visualizing all of those big boxes your stuff got put in. Can you guess what it reminded me of?
Yes! That time in La Canada when Zack put himself in a refrigerator box and had himself delivered to our house so he could invite you to ... what was it? Not prom. I remember the special balloons with special puzzles he put into your closet while you were away.
Such a lot of wonder in your lives.
Love,
Mom
